Weekly Live Well One Simple Shift
Each week, I share one simple yet powerful change to implement in your daily life that is transformative over time. No overwhelm—just proven shifts that bring you closer to living well.
So here we go. For this week, make this one shift:
Replace your daily sweets with a cup of blueberries or an apple with a nut butter.
Before this shift can truly work, you need a strategy!
Here are the three steps I to help you succeed:
- Remove all sweets from your home.
Yes, all of them! Cookies, ice cream, bars, muffins, etc. All out!
- Eat plants + protein + healthy fats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
This stabilizes your blood sugar and crushes cravings. Fill up on what your body needs.
🥬 Fiber-rich plants (non-starchy veggies, fermented veggies, beans, nuts, seeds)
🥚 Clean protein (sustainable meats, eggs, tempeh, organic dairy)
🥑 Healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, coconut oil or butter)
3. Sip water with electrolytes throughout the day.
Use Redmond salt + lemon or a splash of raw, organic apple cider vinegar.
Avoid sweetened electrolytes—even natural ones. Stevia and “sugar-free” flavors still activate the brain’s dopamine response and keep addiction alive.
These three steps shift your biology.
They lower cravings.
Sugar addiction can be very complex, and I go deeper into this process in my book Live Well—a science-backed, deeply compassionate approach to building freedom, energy, and clarity from the inside out. This is where true wellness begins.
Because the goal isn’t to quit sugar forever.
It’s to stop feeling controlled by it.
To eat with intention
And to finally feel well.
You've got this!! And remember: CONSISTENCY is key to successful transformation.
