Give your gut and mitochondria time to repair overnight. Your body heals at night and can only do it in a fasted, rested state—not while digesting late-night snacks.
Eating heavy meals within three hours of bedtime creates inflammation—a metabolic fire your body has to put out at night instead of focusing on repair and regeneration. When your system is constantly putting out fires, your M&M team (mitochondria and microbiome) can’t create health—they’re just keeping you barely functioning.
If this feels challenging, start small: move your dinner or evening snack 30 minutes earlier each night until you reach a 6 p.m. cutoff.
